Templeton Stud is set over 250 acres of Berkshires finest countryside, situated West of Newbury on the outskirts of the Lambourn Valley. Templeton was historically owned by one of the great racing influences, Lord Howard de Walden and many of the horses raced in the family’s famous apricot silks were raised on the farm. Since the turn of the century the stud has had a new, more commercial direction, under the care of vet surgeon Caroline Green. Although the traditional stud practices remain, the farm has opened up to provide a tailor made and complete service to outside owners, eagerly encouraging their involvement.
